Incorporated in March 2011, Western Carriers (India) Limited is a multi-modal, rail-focused, 4PL asset-light logistics company providing fully customizable logistics solutions across road, rail, water, and air transportation, along with value-added services. The company caters to various sectors, including metals, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, engineering, oil and gas, and retail. Their prominent clientele includes Tata Steel, Hindalco, JSW, BALCO, Vedanta, Hindustan Unilever, Coca Cola India, Cipla, Haldia Petrochemicals, and many others. Western Carriers also offers international chartering services, stevedoring at Indian ports, and coastal cargo movements within India, specializing in rail-road combinations through its asset-light model. The company manages supply chains for leading metal and resource groups and, as of December 31, 2022, served over 1,100 customers, employing 1,350 people across various departments.
